Once a song has been selected by the VoxSonix community, the process of turning this into an arrangement for a group of vocalists begins. This involves finding harmonies and textures of an appropriate difficulty and style, deciding if the song is going to have any solo elements, finding a suitable backing track that enhances the vocal arrangement, or having a bespoke one made.
The vocal parts are then recorded so the full effect of the arrangement can be made. Sometimes a song is crying out for impact through a basic, feel-good arrangement that require less concentration and an uplifting vibe can cut through above all else. Other songs thrive on a level of intricacy where specific vocal technique points can be taught alongside to enhance the way we use our voices as an emotive tool.
The VoxSonix vocalists will all learn these techniques alongside each other and there is always something more we can learn — the journey never ends! Lyric sheets are available for vocalists to download where they can make their own notes within a session, and after a song has been taught, audio downloads of each vocal part are available to consolidate the learning at home.
Every step of the arrangement process has the VoxSonix community in mind and is a dynamic process to take on board the spirit, confidence and direction the group wants to take with each song.
